1. Write a summary of what has happened in your story so far. (Remember a summary has a beginning, middle and end.)
Jess woke up and then went to go to the fields to run. Then Jess went to school and met a girl named Leslie Burke. Jess went to recess and ran a race. He almost won. In the middle, Jess was friends with Leslie. He talked to her and found out that she made a land called Terabithia. Then in the end, Jess came home to see everyone sad. They told him Leslie died. She was playing on a rope swing and the rope broke and she hit her head and drowned.
2. How do you feel about your book? Remember to include details from your story to support your opinion.
I think it was a sad book because Leslie died. I don't like people dying in books. Because I get to like characters in books.
3. Make a prediction what you think will happen next in your story. Remember to support your answer with examples from the text. (Bud Not Buddy, Witch of Blackbird Pond, Westing Game).
4. How did your story end? Did you like your ending? Tell why or
why not. If you didn't like it, how would you change it? (Mixed Up Files and Bridge to Terabithia).
I liked the ending because it was happy. Jess was not sad anymore and he got a bunch of paints.
